I have known & worked with Ken Day since 2004 and although I have not performed with him, I have seen how he runs his business and treats people and that to me is as important as the talent. I know he has talent though, because I know most of his business is by referral & from repeat clients. In addition, folks pay big bucks to fly him across the country and beyond to perform at their weddings and others for his public speaking & training seminars. Ken is a sought after mentor by other DJs and is an expert in equipment, computer/online and customer service as well as genuine and trustworthy and YES, he cares! Now I'm technically his competition and this is what I can say about him, imagine what his clients are saying! Ken was incredible. He met us at the rehearsal even though we did not plan on having music at the actual wedding, just the reception. He coordinated the rehearsal and made liaison with our photographer and our wedding coordinator. He showed up to the reception early. Good thing because our wedding coordinator told us when she got there Ken was running the show. The place was not set up and Ken took charge. We were late getting to the reception because of photos, Ken had already coordinated with the club and all the employees for us to stay an extra 2 hours with no additional charge. He made the reception the funniest one I'd ever been to. He even made sure my wife and I sat down and ate. My wife originally thought we paid too much. By the time we were finished she would have paid double for the Service Ken provided.
